Looking after your Flowers
, You can make your flowers last longer by searing the endow the stems. Cut off the stems by about an inch, then dip them in boiling water – just the bottom 10 per cent – for about 10 seconds, then leave them in a deep bucket of water in a cool place, preferably overnight. Once they’ve had a good long drink you can arrange them to suit.
, Try to keep your flowers in a cool location, out of the sun so that your flowers do not suffer unnecessary heat.
, To give your flowers some oomph, pour a few drops of bleach into your flowers water, this will make you flowers sing for that dinner party or special event.
, Change the water in your flowers every fews days to make sure that they stay fresh.
